This graphic novel biography had me laughing out loud. In my head the narrator was the voice of the narrator from Jane the Virgin. Santiago reminds me of Soup from the old Robert Newton Peck books. He is snarky and smart and absolute perfection. I think middle school readers will connect with his rebellious side and humorous quips, and they will be surprised to find that science and art is for the cool kids!
